This page flows naturally from two previous pages.
- Are We Supposed to Be Working or Not? shows that we are to come to rest from dead works and begin doing living works.
- The Secret to Fulfilling Your Destiny shows that we are to build according to our Destiny Scroll and according to Blueprints, Mandates and Flow.
- You may want to review those two pages.
What is a work?
- A work is something that you say or do.
- A work is either a dead work or a living work.
- Dead works are self-effort and / or sin.
- Living works are done from relationship with Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit.
- Building is a work.
What is building?
- Solomon built the temple.
- The temple is called the house of the Lord.
- Jesus is building the Ecclesia.
- We are the house of the Lord.
- The building that Jesus is building is the house of the Lord.
“Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it.”
We are to co-build with Jesus as He builds His Ecclesia.
- For most of our lives we were not building His Ecclesia.
- We were building our own little kingdoms.
- We did this before and after being born again.
- Most of the Ecclesia has not been building the Ecclesia.
- We have all been unknowingly building in vain.
Being at rest involves stopping and starting.
- We stop doing dead works.
- We stop sinning.
- We begin doing living works.
- We do living works by flowing with Holy Spirit.
- Flowing with Holy Spirit looks like the fruit of the Spirit.
- Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Being at rest also involves starting to build from rest.
- We build according to our Book of Destiny / Destiny Scroll.
- “The scroll, the whole scroll and nothing but the scroll.”
- If it’s on our scroll we do it.
- If it’s not on our scroll we don’t.
- We build according to a blueprint.
- We build by mandate.
- We flow with Holy Spirit as we build.
Some ways to know if you are building from rest.
“Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it.”
- If you are building with Jesus then you are likely building from rest.
- If you are building without Jesus then you are definitely not building from rest.
- If you have a mandate then you are likely building from rest.
- If you don’t have a mandate then you are definitely not building from rest.
- If you are flowing with Holy Spirit you are definitely building from rest.
So, if it’s on your scroll
- And you are building according to a blueprint, a mandate…
- And you are flowing with Holy Spirit then you are building from rest.
What is the simplest way to know if you are building from rest?
- If you are flowing with Holy Spirit then you are building from rest.
What this doesn’t mean.
- You don’t have to wait for God to tell you before deciding which side of the bed to get out of in the morning.
- He doesn’t care.
- Both sides are right.
- Unless one side is against the wall.
- Lying in bed all day trying to decide is the wrong choice.
- (Think about it.) 🙂
You know right from wrong. You also know right timing.
- Do it if it’s right.
- Do it if it’s the right time to do it.
- Presence or absence of the flow of Holy Spirit helps you with timing.
Yes, but Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing and only spoke what He heard the Father speaking.
- Jesus knew right from wrong.
- Jesus knew that Father only does right.
- Jesus knew how to flow with Holy Spirit.
- Jesus wasn’t waiting for a vision or a word from Father before He did anything.
- Jesus knew His destiny.
- Jesus knew that He had been given the blueprint for the Ecclesia.
- Jesus built and is building according to that blueprint.
- Jesus builds by receiving daily mandates and flowing with Holy Spirit.
- We are to build with Jesus and to build in the same way.
Jesus is building His Ecclesia.
- We are to build with Jesus.
- We are to build according to His blueprint for His Ecclesia.
- This is where we have all gotten it wrong for so many years.
- We assumed that we were to build the Ecclesia just like everyone else was building.
- Almost everyone has had Ecclesia wrong since Constantine.
- Jesus is not currently building Ecclesia as we see it in most of the New Testament.
We can build the Ecclesia wrong when we are building according to the Bible.
- If we look at the wrong part of the Bible.
- Don’t look at Ecclesia in the book of Acts.
- Look at Ecclesia in the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
- Look at the heavenly city of New Jerusalem.
- Then look at the heavenly city of Zion.
Only if you are building the Ecclesia that Jesus is building are not building in vain.
“Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it.”
- Take time to understand Jesus’ blueprint for His Ecclesia.
What Does Rest From Dead Works Look Like?
- It looks like building with Jesus.
- It looks like building according to Jesus’ blueprint for His Ecclesia.
- When we do this then we will prosper.
- And we will fulfill our destinies.
