The Throne of Blessing is one of the 7 Thrones of the Crown.
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!” Revelation of Jesus Christ 5:12
- Jesus became worthy to receive these 7 after His death.
- So do we.
This means that once you have been slain as a Living Sacrifice you can receive all 7.
- It takes quite a while to be fully slain as a Living Sacrifice.
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!” Revelation of Jesus Christ 5:13
We bless Father and Jesus with Blessing and Honor and Glory and Power.
The 7 Thrones that make up the Crown:
- Glory
- Honor
- Power
- Blessing
- Riches
- Strength
- Wisdom
Verses that give more revelation about the Throne of Blessing:
‘ Now the Lord had said to Abram:
“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”’ Genesis 12:1-3
- We obey the command to leave and go.
- Then we can receive the promise of Blessing and Greatness.
Note how the Throne of Blessing relates to the Throne of Greatness.
“I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.”
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ…” Ephesians 1:3
- Father is the one who blesses us.
- We have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places.
- We are blessed “in Christ”.
- This means that our blessing is inside the name “Christ”.
There are many levels of Blessing.
- Blessed in Christ is one level.
- Blessed in Abraham is another level.
- Blessed as Lamb is a higher level.
