The I AMs that the LORD calls Himself in the Revelation of Jesus Christ
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the LORD, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” The Father speaking in Revelation 1:8
The LORD says that He is 3 I AM names in this verse.
- I AM the Alpha and the Omega.
- I AM the Beginning and the End.
- I AM the LORD.
I Am the LORD is made up of 3 names.
- I AM the LORD Who Is.
- I AM the LORD Who Was.
- I AM the LORD Who Is To Come.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.” Yeshua speaking with His voice sounding as a Trumpet in Revelation 1:11
Yeshua says that He is a 4th I AM name in this verse.
- I AM the First and the Last.
A 7 is revealed in this verse.
- The first 7 revealed in Revelation is the 7 Spirits who are before the LORD’s throne.
- The second 7 is the 7 Ecclesias.
The 7 Ecclesias are:
- Ephesus
- Smyrna
- Pergamos
- Thyatira
- Sardis
- Philadelphia
- Laodicea
“Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.” Jesus speaking to John in Revelation 1:17
- This name has already been spoken in Revelation 1:11.
- John fell as dead when he saw Jesus as the First and the Last.
- We die when we see I AM the First and the Last.
- Jesus tells us to not be afraid to die.
The Law of Opposites says that in order to be First you must first be Last.
- In order to be exalted I must first Humble myself.
- In order to Live I must first Die.
- In order to become I AM Life Forevermore I must briefly taste I AM Death.
We only taste Death and Burial for a brief moment.
- Yeshua tasted Death for 3 days.
- We taste it too.
- Then we become I AM the Resurrection and the Life.
- Allowing us to become I AM Alive (present tense) Forevermore.
- This is why we are told to not be afraid of death.
- It is followed by resurrection and life forevermore.
For a brief moment we become I AM Death.
- Then we become I AM He Who Was (past tense) Dead.
There is a time in between I AM Death and I AM Alive for evermore.
- That brief time is a brief time of I AM Buried.
The time of I AM Dead and Buried is the time of I AM Humbled.
- During this time we become I AM Humility.
- We will be I AM Humility forever.
- But, we will not always be I AM Humbled.
- I AM Humbled = I AM Buried.
- We are I AM Buried only for a brief time.
After this we become I AM the Resurrection an the Life!
- And I AM Ascended.
- I AM Ascended = I AM Exalted.
- I AM Exalted = I AM No Longer Humbled = I AM Humility.
- I AM Exalted = I AM Coronated in I AM.
“Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” Jesus to John in Revelation 1:17-18
Jesus says that He is a 5th I AM name in this verse.
- I AM He
Three I AM He names are revealed.
- I AM He Who Lives.
- I AM He Who Was Dead.
- I AM He Who Is Alive Forevermore.
Note the “Behold”.
- It is between two I AM He names.
- It is between I AM He Who Was Dead and I AM He Who Is Alive Forevermore.
We are told to behold Jesus as I AM He Who Is Alive Forevermore.
- This is an invitation / command to encounter this name.
- Those who this was written to were living.
- And have died with Jesus.
- But they were not yet alive forevermore.
- This is also true of many of those reading this page.
- You are not yet alive forevermore.
- Until you become I AM He Who IS Alive Forevermore.
John did fall as dead when He saw.
“And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead.” John speaking in Revelation 1:17
We become anything with respect to the Godhead that we behold.
- We behold Jesus as I AM He Who Is Alive Forevermore.
- We behold ourselves as I AM He Who Is Alive Forevermore.
- We become I AM He Who Is Alive Forevermore.
Note that I AM HE Who IS Alive Forevermore is also I AM He Who WAS Dead.
- I AM Was Dead = Death is in my past = Death is no longer in my present or my future.
“Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” Jesus to John in Revelation 1:17-18
This I AM name is followed by “Amen.”
- This means “Let it be so.”
- Every Promise is “Yes” and “Amen” in Christ.
- We are the one who says the “Yes” and the “Amen” to each and every Promise.
One who has become I AM alive forevermore has “the keys of Hades and of Death.”
- One who is alive forevermore has these keys.
- And is able to use them governmentally.
“I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.” Jesus speaking to John in Revelation 2:23
Yeshua says that He is a 4th I AM He name in this verse.
- I AM He who searches the minds and hearts.
We become two things before we can become I AM he who searches the minds and hearts.
- We become the One Heart of the Father
- The become the One Mind of Christ.
- We can then become I AM He who searches the minds and hearts.
“Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.” Revelation 3:11
Yeshua says that He is a 6th I AM name in this verse.
- I AM coming quickly
We are to do 3 things with respect to this I AM name.
- We behold the name to become the name.
- We are to hold fast to what we have.
- Specifically, we are to hold on to our crown.
What follows is a premature use of a name.
- One of the many Thrones that we possess is the Throne of Riches.
- One on that Throne moves into “I am Rich” as a manifestation of possessing it.
Yeshua tells an Ecclesia that they are saying “I AM Rich when they aren’t yet rich.
- They are deceived.
- They do not see true revelation of who they are.
‘Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—’ Revelation 3:17
- We are cautioned about saying I AM before we are I AM.
- When we do, it is because we are deceived and do not know what we truly we.
“Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” Jesus speaking in Revelation 16:15
We have already seen one I AM Coming name.
- I AM coming quickly.
Yeshua says that He is a 2nd I AM Coming name in this verse.
- I AM coming as a thief.
Once we have seen Jesus as this name what are we to do?
- A homeowner who knows that there is a thief coming keeps watch for the thief.
- I AM coming as a thief takes the garments of those who fail to keep watch.
- We are to keep watch for this name to be manifested.
- One who fails to keep watch will lose their garments.
- Others will see that you are naked.
- Whether you see yourself as naked or not.
What are we to keep watch for?
- We are to keep watch for His coming.
What is His coming?
- It is the coming of I AM Coming Quickly.
- And of I AM Coming AS A Thief.
When does He come?
- He comes when we become I AM Coming Soon.
What garments are we talking about?
- Our white garments of overcoming.
- This means that we do not yet have permanent possession of our white garments.
When do we receive permanent possession of our white garments?
- This is a REALLY good question.
- For now, let’s simply say, “Don’t go backwards.”
- It is possible to give up the Positions of Identity that you have gained.
‘And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.’ Yeshua to John in Revelation 21:6
- We have seen I AM the Alpha and the Omega before.
- We have seen I AM the Beginning and the End before.
- We are seeing them again after hearing, “It is done!”
- So, here we are seeing the same name with an emphasis on I AM the End.
“Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” Revelation 22:7
- Another “Behold!”
- We are to look at the name “I AM coming quickly.”
We are reminded of the blessing for keeping the words of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
- This was first mentioned in the beginning of Revelation.
“Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” Revelation 1:3
- Keeping the words of Revelation keeps us on our Journey.
“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work.” Revelation 22:12
Again we are to behold:
- We are told to behold the same name that we were told to behold before.
- I AM coming quickly.
He brings His reward for us with Him when He comes.
- This reward is given according to our work.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” Yeshua in Revelation 22:13
- We saw these name at the begining of Revelation.
3 names:
- I AM the Alpha and the Omega.
- I AM the Beginning and the End.
- I AM the First and the Last.
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” Jesus in Revelation 22:16
Jesus says that He is two more I AM names.
- I AM the Root and the Offspring of David is a 7th I AM name.
- I AM the Bright and Morning Star is an 8th I AM name.
I AM the Root and the Offspring of David.
- This speaks of Yeshua as the Messiah of the House and lineage of King David.
The Morning Star is visible only first thing in the morning.
- It is the planet Venus.
- It is seen on the morning of the 8th Day.
- The 8th Day is the One New Day.
‘He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!’ Revelation 22:20
- I AM coming quickly.
- This is the 4th time that this Name is found in Revelation.
When does Jesus come?
- He comes in the Year, in the Month, on the Day and at the Hour.
- As determined by the Father.
One Day you will become the One New Adam.
- You will live in the New Heaven.
- In New Jerusalem.
- On the New Earth.
That Day will be the One New Day.
- Which is also “This Day”.
- You will become “This Day”.
- Watching for “This Hour”.
You will become “This Hour”.
- When you become “This Hour” Yeshua will come.
- You will come with Him.
Until then, you are commanded to watch for the Day and the Hour.
