Reframing the understanding of why Christ Died on the Cross and “ it is finished “

By Jane Johnson

This came from direct revelation not bible study . It was ratified through encounter with a bench . It may need amendment and refining .

Typical belief said Christ died for our sins .We must look at the original intention of the word sin and we see it more as ignorance, blindness of the way to act than being unrighteous. Our right standing came through Christ before the creation of the world as the Great high priest performing this sacrifice . Hence out of time we are never dead or seperate .

So it could never seperate literally only our perception of that was damaged .

WRONG UNDERSTANDING OF THE DEFINITION OF SIN

Hence if we read it as our blindness or ignorance caused a perception of separateness we see we do not need Christ to die on a cross to bring us into relationship.

You see in eternity we were always in Oneness with the Godhead and have never been separated. It is our perception of separateness that causes issues with our identity and feeling unrighteous.

WE are coronated in the city of righteousness when we recognise we always have been righteous.

BEING A LIVING SACRIFICE equals THE WAY – us being new Jerusalem – not living a good life .New Jerusalem is the way .

Christ I perceive died to show us :-

1. On earth as in heaven as HE HAD DIED BEFORE THE CREATION OF THR WORLD SO ALL COULD COME THROUGH HIM .

2. the process of death burial and resurrection. His Death shows us the fullness of a living sacrifice and equate to the way being new Jerusalem

3. His burial I see linked with Zion birthing a new thing

4. His ascension showing how to live out of the city of everlasting and become the LIFE .

YOU BECOME THE WAY THE TRUTH THE LIFE THROUGH BEING IN ONENESS. we never are the way the truth or the life individually without christ .

IMPORTANT POINTS TO BACK UP THIS

  • Jesus had a transfigured body Before he died on the cross
  • Old Testament characters had access to heaven and skipped death showing that the cross was not the key to heaven access.
  • Jesus came to show a new wineskin more than a new covenant. We may have used the wrong word there .
  • it is finished I see as meaning Jesus has physically incarnated what he did in heaven , so on the earth it is finished . No one else needs to do that as all can only come through Christ .
  • We were a living being with our spirit on the outside before the Fall. I see the perception of that changed after the fall and we felt we were sinful and seperate ( hence naked ).
  • The Veil being torn in two I see as representing awareness that we were always one and there never was a veil where only priests could access. This was a man made doctrine to keep people from accessing God and seeing the truth I believe to date .
  • The law I see as a God-given method to stop wrong trading. It was never meant to make us righteous
