We come to OUB.
- We join many Chats and many Groups.
- One day we realize that it’s too much work to follow all of them.
What to do?
- Stay in / on those that we have most desire for.
- Leave those that we have least desire for.
There is a protocol for leaving a Chat.
- Think of it as being like going home after a Party at someone’s house.
- You were invited.
- You came.
- You enjoyed yourself.
- Now it’s time to leave.
- Say goodnight to everyone before you go.
- Thank your host.
- In other words, make a polite and gracious exit. 😊
We are family.
- You may have an issue with someone or something in OUB.
- You may be tempted to leave OUB.
- Explain to your family what is going on.
If you have an issue with a brother take it to them.
- Be assertive and honoring.
- Or deal with it yourself.
Don’t just walk out on family.
- It takes time to build strong relationships.
- Those relationships are of great value.
- Relationships are worth saving.
- The Body of Christ is made up of relationships.
You can always take a break for a while.
- Let your family know that you are taking a break.
- Come back refreshed after the break.
Chats and Groups are meant to build family.
- Try not to look at them as just being a resource for you.
- If you see that something needs to be changed state your concern.
- Bring suggested solutions.
- Take your share of responsibility for the Chat or the Group.
