A Fresh Look at The 7 Feasts Journey
9/23/2023
Summary:
This is a fresh look at The 7 Feasts Journey.
- Israel’s Fulfillment of some of The Feasts
- Yeshua’s Historical Fulfillment of The Feasts
- Our Personal Fulfillment of The Feasts
I relied heavily on Dr. Stephen E. Jones’ book: The Laws of The Second Coming.
- I did some research on the internet which was helpful.
I personally took a fresh look at The 7 Feasts as a Journey.
- The result was that I came to some unexpected conclusions.
- Nothing prevents us from experiencing Personal Fulfillment of the first 4 Feasts.
- There is nothing that we must wait for before doing so.
- The only thing preventing us from doing so is not knowing that we can do it.
There is both a First & a Second Fulfillment for each of the last 3 Feasts.
- This is true for Yeshua’s Historical Fulfillment of each of the last 3 Feasts.
- It is also true for our Personal fulfillment of each of the last 3 Feasts.
Who can do First & Second Personal Fulfillments of the last 3 Feasts?
- Heads can do First Personal Fulfillment of the last 3 Feasts.
- Others can do Second Personal Fulfillment of the last 3 Feasts.
The 7 Feasts:
- The Feast of Passover ( Pesach )
- The Feast of Unleavened Bread
- The Feast of First Fruits
- The Feast of Pentecost / the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot )
- The Feast of Trumpets
- The Day of Atonement ( Yom Kippur ) / The Day of Jubilee
- The Feast of Tabernacles ( Sukkot )
The 7 Feasts are traditionally divided into 2 Groups:
- The 4 Spring Feasts
- The 3 Fall Feasts
The Spring & The Fall Feasts:
The 4 Spring Feasts:
- The Feast of Passover ( Pesach )
- The Feast of Unleavened Bread
- The Feast of First Fruits
- The Feast of Pentecost / The Feast of Weeks (Shavuot )
The 3 Fall Feasts:
- The Feast of Trumpets
- The Day of Atonement / The Day of Jubilee ( Yom Kippur )
- The Feast of Tabernacles ( Sukkot )
What do The Spring & The Fall Feasts traditionally represent?
- The 4 Spring Feasts traditionally represent Yeshua’s First Coming.
- The 3 Fall Feast traditionally represent Yeshua’s Second Coming.
I don’t see that this division of The Feasts is correct.
- The 7 Feasts were celebrated by every male Israelite.
- Each male Israelite made 3 yearly trips to Jerusalem.
- It is more correct to divide The 7 Feasts into the 3 yearly trips.
- On the first trip & third trips they would stay for a total of 3 Feasts.
The 3 Yearly Trips to Jerusalem:
- The First Trip: Passover, Unleavened Bread & First Fruits
- The Second Trip: Pentecost
- The Third trip: Trumpets, Day of Atonement & Tabernacles
There is another reason to divide The 7 Feasts into 3 Trips:
- The 4 Spring Feasts are said to coincide with Yeshua’s First Coming.
- The 3 Fall Feasts are said to coincide with Yeshua’s Second Coming.
This isn’t completely true.
- Pentecost is not part of Yeshua’s First Coming.
- Pentecost is after Yeshua’s First Coming.
- It is part of his time seated in Heaven after his Resurrection & Ascension.
We will look at The Fall Feasts.
- Each was First Fulfilled during Yeshua’s First Coming.
- Each will be second Fulfilled by Yeshua at a later time.
First Fruits
A First Fruits Offering was made after each of the 3 Major Feasts.
- An offering of Barley was offered after Passover.
- An offering of Wheat was offered after Pentecost.
- An offering of New Wine was poured out before each day of Tabernacles.
Also, Yeshua is The First Fruits of The Resurrection of The Dead.
There are to be 3 Fulfillments of Each Feast:
- Historically by Israel
- Historically by Yeshua
- Personally by each of us individually
Israel fulfilled the first 2 Feasts.
- These fulfillments were natural fulfillments rather than spiritual fulfillments.
- Israel failed to fulfill any Feast after the first 2 Feasts.
Yeshua has fulfilled all 7 Feasts.
- In the case of the last 3 Feasts this is the first of two fulfillments.
The distinction between Historical & Personal Fulfillment:
- Yeshua fulfilled the first 4 Feasts fully.
- Yeshua has done First Fulfillment of the last 3 Feasts.
- He will do Second fulfillment of the last 3 Feasts in a later Year.
- Any believer can do Personal Fulfillment of the first 4 Feasts at any time.
- Heads will do First Personal Fulfillment of the last 3 Feasts.
- This will be in a specific Year during each Feast.
- Others will do Second Personal Fulfillment of these Feasts during a later Year.
- This will be after Yeshua has done Second Historical Fulfillment of these Feasts.
Historical Fulfillment of a Feast
- Acts 2 is an example of Historical Fulfillment of a Feast.
“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Acts 2:1-4 NKJV
“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come”
- = When the day came for The Historical Fulfillment of The Feast of Pentecost.
- After that day anyone could receive The Holy Spirit.
- Anyone could receive The Manifestation of Speaking in Tongues.
- Anyone can personally fulfill The Feast of Pentecost after Yeshua fulfilled it.
When does Historical Fulfillment of a Feast occur?
- When The Day of that Feast fully comes.
- When the Hour of that Feast comes.
A Feast comes.
- Comes = come from The Is to Come into The Is.
The Day of a Feast Comes.
- It comes on a specific Year on The Enochian Calendar.
- It comes on a specific Day on The Enochian Calendar.
- It comes at a specific Hour on that specific 12 Hour Day.
Examples of The Hour of a Feast:
- Yeshua died as The Lamb of God on a specific Year, Day & Hour.
- It was The 9th Hour of the Day of The Feast of Passover of that Year.
- The Son of God first raised The Mortal Dead on a specific Year, Day & Hour.
- It was a specific Hour on The Day of The Feast of Trumpets of that Year.
First & Second Historical Fulfillment of each of the last 3 Feasts.
There will be both a First & Second Fulfillment of The Feast of Trumpets.
- First Fulfillment was when The Son of God first raised the recently Dead.
- Second Fulfillment is when he raises The Dead at The Second Resurrection.
There will be both a First & Second Fulfillment of The Day of Jubilee.
- First Fulfillment resulted from Yeshua’s proclamation of Jubilee as The Apostle.
- Second fulfillment will be after The Second Resurrection in the same Year.
There will be both a First & Second Fulfillment of The Feast of Tabernacles.
- First Fulfillment was when The Word became Flesh & Tabernacled among us.
- Yeshua fulfilled Tabernacles the first time during 8 specific Days before his death.
- At the time he was tabernacling in a Body which was neither Mortal nor Immortal.
- Second Fulfillment will he will be in a Body that is Immortal.
- This will be after The Second Resurrection.
Personal Fulfillment of a Feast is much more than Historical Fulfillment.
- Those present for Acts 2 had not yet fully fulfilled The Feast of Tabernacles.
- They were present for The Historical Fulfillment.
- The Historical Fulfillment is only the beginning of a Journey into that Feast.
- Speaking in tongues is not full Personal Fulfillment of Pentecost.
- Full Personal Fulfillment of Pentecost is personal Sanctification / Holiness.
We are to personally fulfill each Feast.
- The Feasts are to be personally fulfilled in their order.
- We cannot fulfill any Feast out of order.
We can personally fulfill each of The 7 feasts.
- The first 4 Feasts have been fully fulfilled by Yeshua.
- The last 3 Feasts have been partially fulfilled by Yeshua.
- He has completed First Fulfillment of each of the last 3 Feasts.
- He has not yet completed Second fulfillment of each of the last 3 Feasts.
What does full Personal Fulfillment of each Feast look like?
- Passover – Justification by Works
- Unleavened Bread – Casting out Sin
- First Fruits – Kingship
- Pentecost – Sanctification / Holiness
- Trumpets – The Change of The Mortal Body to an Immortal Body
- Atonement / Jubilee – Final Jubilee
- Tabernacles – God Tabernacles among men in our Immortal Bodies
Yeshua has fully fulfilled each of the first 4 Feasts.
- He has only completed First Fulfillment of each of the last 3 Feasts.
Yeshua’s First Fulfillment of each of the last 3 Feasts:
- He began raising The Dead once The Hour of The Feast of Trumpets came.
- He began proclaiming Liberty & Jubilee once The Day of Jubilee came.
- He tabernacled in a Body not Mortal not yet Immortal once The Feast of Tabernacles came.
There is nothing that prohibits us from personally fulfilling the first 4 Feasts.
- We do that which is required for fulfillment of each Feast.
First & Second Personal Fulfillment of the last 3 Feasts
- First Personal Fulfillment is only for Heads.
- Second Personal Fulfillment is for all who are not Heads.
Here is how First & Second Personal Fulfillment works:
- Heads will begin raising The Mortal Dead on The Feast of Trumpets.
- The Sons of God will raise The Dead with Yeshua at The Second Resurrection.
- Heads will begin to proclaim Liberty & Jubilee on The Day of Jubilee.
- Others will proclaim Liberty & Jubilee at The Final Jubilee.
- Heads will begin to tabernacle in a non-Mortal Body during Tabernacles.
- Others will begin to tabernacle in an Immortal Body during a later Tabernacles.
A scriptural example of Yeshua’s First Fulfillment of a Feast:
Yeshua’s First Historical Fulfillment of The Feast of Trumpets:
“Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.” John 5:25 NKJV
- = Yeshua raising The Mortal Dead ( like Lazarus ) during his ministry.
- Each later died Mortal Death a second time.
Yeshua’s Second Historical Fulfillment of The Feast of Trumpets:
“Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.” John 5:28-29 NKJV
- = Yeshua raising The Dead at The Second Resurrection after The 1000 Years.
The First Feast Trip
Feast | Israel | Yeshua’s Historic Fulfillment | Fulfilled within our Lives |
The Feast of Passover | The Angel of Death passed over Israel.
The Blood of The Lamb delivered Israel from Slavery in Egypt. |
Yeshua died on The Cross on Passover as The Lamb of God. This Feast has been fully fulfilled Historically by Yeshua. It is still to be fulfilled personally within each of our lives. | Justification by Faith in The Blood of The Lamb is The Beginning. Justification by Works is the End. |
The Feast of Unleavened Bread | Israel hurriedly took Unleavened Bread with them as they left Egypt | Yeshua is The Unleavened Bread / Manna. ( Leaven = Sin ) He never sinned. This Feast has been fully fulfilled Historically by Yeshua. It is still to be fulfilled personally within each of our lives. | Dead to Sin & Crucified to The Flesh is The Beginning. Casting out Sin is The End.
We become Unleavened Bread. |
The Feast of First Fruits | Israel as a Nation rejected Yeshua’s Resurrection. | Yeshua was resurrected as The Firstfruits of The Resurrection. This Feast has been fully fulfilled Historically by Yeshua. It is still to be fulfilled personally within each of our lives. | Each believer is to experience The Resurrection of their Soul preparing them to receive the revelation of Kingship. The Resurrection of our Bodies occurs at The Feast of Trumpets. |
The Second Trip Feast
Feast | Israel | Yeshua’s Historic Fulfillment | Fulfilled within our Lives |
The Feast of Pentecost | Israel rejected Yehovah at Mount Sinai. As a result The Law was given at Mount Sinai. This rejection of Yehovah disqualified Israel from fulfilling The
Feast of Pentecost & any Feast after Pentecost. |
Yeshua poured out The Holy Spirit from Heaven (Acts 2). This Feast has been fully fulfilled Historically by Yeshua. It is still to be fulfilled personally within each of our lives. | The Beginning is Receiving The Holy Spirit / The Indwelling of The Spirit / Our Mortal Body as The Temple of The Holy Spirit. The End is / Sanctification / Holiness. |
The Third Feast Trip
Feast | Israel | Yeshua’s Historic Fulfillment | Fulfilled within our Lives |
The Feast of Trumpets | Yeshua resurrected The Mortal Dead back to Mortal Life. Lazarus is an example of this. He did this as The Son of God. Israel rejected Yeshua as The Son of God. | This Feast has been First Fulfilled by Yeshua l resurrecting The Mortal Dead back to Mortal Life. He did this as The Son of God. This Feast will be Second fulfilled by Yeshua resurrecting The Dead at The First & Second Resurrections. Those who are alive at that time & qualify will have their Mortal Bodies changed to Immortal Bodies. | Today Heads can experience First Fulfillment of The Feast of Trumpets personally. We will all experience Second Fulfillment at The First or Second Resurrections. |
The Day of Atonement / The Day of Jubilee | The Day of Atonement is a Day of Repentance & Fasting. Every 49 Years The Day of Atonement is replaced by The Day of Jubilee. Liberty is proclaimed on Jubilee. Israel never experienced either Liberty or Jubilee. Israel rejected the report of Caleb & Joshua & failed to enter The Promised Land on The Jubilee of Jubilees. This would have been followed by Jubilee. Observant Jews have celebrated The Day of Atonement every year ever since. | Yeshua proclaimed both Jubilee & Liberty during his First Coming. His proclamation was disbelieved by most, but anyone can chose to believe it at any time. This Feast has First Fulfilled historically by Yeshua. It will be Second Fulfilled historically by Yeshua when The Day of Jubilee comes after The Second Resurrection. | Today Heads can experience First Fulfillment of The Day of Jubilee personally. We will all experience Second Fulfillment on a later Day of Jubilee. |
The Feast of Tabernacles | Israel rejected The Word that became Flesh & tabernacled among them. | The Word became Flesh & Tabernacled among us. This Feast has been First Fulfilled historically by Yeshua tabernacling on The Earth in a Body that was neither Mortal nor Immortal. It will be Second Fulfilled historically by Yeshua tabernacling on The Earth in an Immortal Body. | Today Heads can experience First Fulfillment of The Feast of Tabernacles personally. This is God tabernacling in our Body that is neither Mortal nor Immortal. We will all experience Second Fulfillment personally at a later Feast of Tabernacles. This is God tabernacling in our Immortal Body. |
