• Each of the following Truths lead to your function as a believer or High Priest.
• I don’t address the details of the function of Believers as a Priest in The Temple.

Please read this brief Article.

There were / are 5 Temples:

1. The First Temple – Solomon’s Temple
2. The Second Temple that was modified by King Herod
3. Believer’s individual Bodies as a Temple for The Holy Spirit
4. The Corporate Body of Believers as a Temple
5. The Heavenly Temple

 

“And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised…”  Matthew 27:50-52

 

• The Veil referenced by Matthew restricted access to The Holy of holies.
• In Solomon’s Temple only The High Priest could enter The Holy of holies.
• This was The High Priest according to The Order of Aaron.
• In The Heavenly Temple we all have access to The Holy of holies.
• Access to The Holy of holies is different from functioning as High Priest there.
• All believers have access to The Holy of holies.
• This truth is revealed in the following scripture.

 

“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”  Hebrews 4:15-16

 

• This scripture refers to The Heavenly Temple.
• Yeshua is The High Priest.
• He sits upon The Throne of Grace.
• We, as believers are invited to come to him there.

 

In The Tabernacle & Solomon’s Temple Yeshua sat upon The Mercy Seat.

• The Mercy Seat was in The Holy of holies.
• It was over The Arc of The Covenant.
• The High Priest sprinkled Blood on The Mercy Seat once a year.
• This was on The Day of Atonement.
• In this way The Nation of Israel obtained Mercy.

In The Heavenly Temple Yeshua sits as High Priest on The Throne of Grace.

• The Temple = The House of God.
• Yeshua sits as High Priest on The Throne of Grace over The House of God.
• This is a Father Headship over The Sons of God.

The difference between Mercy & Grace:

• Believers who are still in partial disobedience obtain Mercy from God by Faith.
• Believers who are fully obedient find Grace from God by Faith.

We can come to Yeshua seated as High Priest on The Throne of Grace.

• If we are still partially disobedient we can obtain Mercy from him there.
• If we are fully obedient we can find Grace from him there.

 

4 Places / Positions in The Heavenly Temple:

1.  The Outer Court
2. The Inner Court / The Holy Place
3. The Holy of Holies
4. Headship over The House of God

 

The Difference between a Believer, a Priest & a High Priest in The Heavenly Temple:

 

Believers:

• Believers have access to all of The Heavenly Temple.
• Believers have access to The Holy of holies.
• Believers can go there to be given Mandates.
• Believers have access to Yeshua as High Priest seated on The Throne of Grace.

Priests:

• We become a Priest in The Age of Melchizedek.
• We are now able to function as a Priest in The Heavenly Temple.
• Priests function in The Outer Court & The Inner Court / The Holy Place.
• Priests stand while they function as Priests.

High Priests:

• High Priests function in 2 places in The Heavenly Temple.
• They stand to function in The Holy of holies.
• As High Priest we bring our Blood as a completed Living Sacrifice.
• We place our Blood on The Mercy Seat.
• High Priests sit to function on The Throne of Grace.

 

The Throne of Grace & The Age of Peace:

• Mercy is The 1st Arch Stone of The Age of Peace.
• Grace is The 2nd Arch Stone of The Age of Peace.

3 Levels of Function at The Throne of Grace:

1. Believers come to Yeshua on The Throne of Grace to obtain Mercy & find Grace.
2. As a High Priest we sit on The Throne of Grace with Yeshua functioning there.
3. As a High Priest Father we father our sons who are Sons of God.

 

The High Priest & believers as High Priests:

• Yeshua is The High Priest.
• Believers can become a High Priest.
• We are a High Priest in Oneness with Yeshua as The High Priest.
• Believers as High Priests are functioning in The Feast of Tabernacles.
